The first thing clients see - 'Hercules', our six foot tall mascot who guards the lobby and leaves no-one in any doubt about the priorities in the Clinic.
|

Photographs of patients, past and present are frequently donated by clients. It gives us great pleasure to display them.
|

The reception area is spacious and of course dog-free, for a stress-free (or as near stress-free as a visit to the vet can be!) experience. |

The reception desk is rarely this quiet. |

Over time we have refined the items sold in the retail area. Special diets and life-stage diets are our biggest sellers. Other tried and tested items include grooming aids, pet carriers and the Feliway range of feline pheromones. |

Consulting Room 1 - Deliberately minimalist for hygiene purposes and no computer screen to distract attention from the patient. The room can be darkened for ophthalmic examinations. |

Consulting Room 2 - Almost a mirror image of "One" but with a window view of wild rabbits, irresistible to curious patients. |

The Pharmacy - Shared by both consulting rooms and stocks a wide range of prescription only medicines, with the most popular flea and worm products on display. The Vet's computer work station is here too. |

The Preparation Area- The busiest part of the clinic. Divided into several 'zones' - Anaesthetic Induction Pre-Op Preparation, Recovery; X-Ray; Dental & Ultrasound. |

The X-Ray Zone. |

The dental area. A specially adapted dental unit - A dental x-ray machine and automatic processor facilitates any dental procedure. |

The operating theatre - for sterile procedures. |

Day surgery cages - comfortable and clean fiberglass cages with glass doors, placed in the Prep area to allow close observation during recovery from anaesthesia. |

Isolation cages for hospitalisation of infectious cases. Air flows into this area to prevent the escape of pathological organisms. |

Laboratory and instrument sterilisation area. Some in-house testing is performed here with same day results but more specialised lab work such as histopathology is sent to an an external lab with results faxed back within 24 hours. |

Ward One - A mixture of small and medium size cages and larger cat cabins for hospitalised patients. |

Cat cabins provide extra space for long-term hospitalisation. |

Ward Two - Cattery-type units for hospitalised patients who are well enough to require more space and stimulation or for 'drop-off' patients in for the day. |
